Basics of Static Mechanical Equipment
This online series introduces fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks and heat exchangers, and explains their role in upstream and midstream process and control schemes. It reviews the principal design codes and basic exchanger sizing. Participants also look at line hydraulics and common corrosion mechanisms so they can support sound sizing and integrity decisions.
